Intensive National Private Pilot Licence/Private Pilot Licence - Aeroplane

Are you looking to complete your Aeroplane NPPL or PPL in a shorter time frame?

Our intensive course follows the same legal course structure as our usual NPPL/PPL, information on which can be found here, however unlike our normal program the intensive course allows you to have the instructor and aircraft for the whole day. This course can be conducted in any of our aeroplanes but tends to be reserved for our Piper Arrow III, although this is a more complex aircraft it has great availability to be able to carry out these longer training days.

While our usual program is great it can stagnate due to weather limitations and availability of instructors who have more than one student per day. For the intensive course we only accept one student at a time and work with that student until they achieve their licence. The structure allows us to fly away from Bournemouth for the day to make use of more favourable weather conditions at other airfields. When flying we aim to do 3 hours of flight training a day. These days are mixed with ground tuition days, again working with the same instructor for the whole day. This approach really helps with continuity which can sometimes fade in the usual program should you only fly once a week.

We recommend flying at least two full days a week on this course but this can be as much as five days a week. We can tailor a course to fit your work and social schedule.

The intensive course is slightly more expensive than the usual program however this cost can often be outweighed as when flying intensively you are more likely to achieve your licence closer to the course minimum.
