Why We're Unique

Bliss Aviation is located at Bournemouth Airport, with it’s sister company Bournemouth Handling. We provide a unique flight training environment with exceptional facilities that include one to one classrooms, a student study and planning lounge, customs and handling, and a coffee shop. Uniquely, we are the only training school with a refuelling vehicle, so there are no delays when you fly with us.

Busy Airports are Excellent for Training

Being located at Bournemouth Airport means that you will be training in Class D airspace, where busy scheduled traffic operates throughout the day. This allows you to receive a high level of training and gain confidence in airspace where commercial aircraft operate. You would be unlikely to receive this invaluable experience at a small non-commercial airfield.

The Head of Training, Oliver Lehmann, manages a team of established career instructors, providing a consistent, high quality training programme. Our instructors are not looking to move on in their own flying career which shows in their caring approach to flight training.

While the cost to train is slightly higher, the invaluable experience at an international airport makes up for this. Many times smaller airfields have grass runways which become unusable in the winter.
